Embedded Engineer

We are working with an innovative technology company in the Kildare region that is continuing to grow its R&D team. The organisation develops advanced intelligent sensing products used in demanding real-world environments and is seeking an Embedded Engineer with exposure to machine learning and computer vision techniques.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working close to hardware while contributing to smart, data-driven embedded systems.

As an Embedded Engineer, you will support the development of embedded software and edge intelligence across next-generation products. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across software, electronics, and product engineering.

• 5+ years’ experience in embedded software or firmware development

• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++

• Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments

• Familiarity with microcontrollers and low-level hardware interaction

• Exposure to machine learning and/or computer vision concepts

• Experience with hardware communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)

• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability

• Comfortable working in cross-functional engineering teams
